X-Plane 12 o DCS World) come motori di fisica. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Transformation, this role will partner closely with the finance organization (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, and adjacent business teams) to translate complex finance problems into pragmatic, production-grade technical solutions with a strong emphasis on agentic AI, intelligent automation, and machine learning for forecasting and planning. This is an execution-first role focused on prototyping, building, and launching production-grade solutions that deliver measurable impact for Finance. Beyond direct execution, the AI Architect will help influence technical direction, define architectural standards, and establish new ways of working across the organization. As part of our global hiring process, we kindly ask that resumes/CVs be submitted in English, as it’s our primary business language across teams and regions.    WHAT YOU WILL DO  🏄 Agentic AI & Intelligent Automation Architect and build agentic AI systems that automate finance workflows, including close, consolidations, variance analysis, management reporting, and ad-hoc analytical requests. Design multi-agent orchestration systems (planner, retriever, executor, reviewer) with appropriate guardrails, evaluations, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints. Identify high-leverage automation opportunities across the finance value chain and translate them into clear architectural blueprints, prototypes, and production roadmaps. Define standards for prompt engineering, tool integration, RAG, memory, and agent observability to ensure consistency and reliability across solutions. Partner with Engineering, IT, and Security to productionize agents — addressing identity, access, secrets management, audit logging, and change control. AI/ML for FP&A & Forecasting Design and implement machine learning models for revenue, expense, cash flow, and driver-based forecasting, scenario modeling, and anomaly detection. Lead the evolution from traditional, spreadsheet-driven forecasting toward predictive and probabilistic approaches, including time-series, hierarchical, and causal modeling techniques. Embed AI-generated insights and narratives into the FP&A planning cycle, partnering with FP&A leaders to ensure outputs are interpretable, trusted, and actionable. Establish backtesting, model monitoring, drift detection, and performance benchmarks so that models remain accurate and credible over time. Champion experimentation: define hypotheses, run controlled pilots, and measure impact on forecast accuracy, cycle time, and decision quality. Technical Leadership & Influence Serve as the senior-most AI technical voice within Finance, setting technical direction, reviewing designs, and raising the bar on engineering quality across initiatives. Provide hands-on prototyping and reference implementations that de-risk new ideas and accelerate delivery for partner teams. Mentor and uplift finance analysts, FP&A partners, and adjacent engineering teams on AI and ML concepts, patterns, and responsible use. Represent Finance in cross-functional AI governance forums, contributing to enterprise AI strategy, standards, and reusable platform capabilities. Responsible AI, Governance & Risk Establish and enforce responsible AI practices for Finance — including model risk management, bias and fairness reviews, explainability, and human oversight. Define evaluation frameworks and acceptance criteria for AI outputs used in financial decisions and reporting contexts. Maintain a clear inventory of finance AI use cases, models, and agents, with documented owners, data lineage, controls, and review cadence. Stay ahead of evolving AI regulation and external standards relevant to financial services and corporate finance, and translate them into practical internal guidelines. Innovation & Continuous Learning Maintain deep, current expertise in foundation models, agent frameworks, ML tooling, and the rapidly evolving finance AI ecosystem. Run structured pilots and proofs-of-concept to evaluate emerging capabilities and translate promising results into a defensible production roadmap. Curate a portfolio of high-impact AI use cases for Finance, balancing quick wins with foundational, longer-horizon investments.   WHAT YOU WILL NEED 🪄 10+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML, software engineering, or applied data science, including significant time as a senior IC, principal, or staff-level architect. Demonstrated experience designing and shipping production AI systems — ideally including agentic AI, LLM-based applications, and ML for forecasting or planning use cases. Deep, hands-on expertise with modern AI tooling: foundation models and APIs, agent frameworks, RAG patterns, vector stores, orchestration tools, and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, statsmodels, Prophet, or equivalents). Strong software engineering fundamentals — Python, APIs, version control, testing, CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and modern data stacks. Solid working knowledge of finance and FP&A concepts: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, driver-based planning, management reporting, and the systems that support them (ERP, EPM/CPM, data warehouse, BI). Experience working with or building on top of finance-relevant data — general ledger, sub-ledgers, headcount, sales pipeline, and operational drivers — with a strong appreciation for data quality and lineage. Working understanding of responsible AI, model risk management, security, privacy, and audit considerations relevant to enterprise finance.   👉 At our company, we value diversity and actively encourage it — we believe a variety of perspectives and backgrounds makes us stronger. We focus on potential rather than on having a “perfect” CV. If this role excites you and you believe you could grow into it — even if you don’t tick every single box in the requirements — we’d love to hear from you!   LOCATION 🌐   While we have offices in Milan and Madrid, you can benefit from our flexible hybrid model, empowering you to work where you're most effective.   WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT SHOPFULLY 🤗 🌎 An opportunity to thrive in a rapidly scaling multinational company 🕶️ A vibrant, informal, and inclusive work environment 🧠 We champion autonomy, flexibility, and a hybrid work model, empowering you to own your work 📚 Access to learning opportunities and regular feedback sessions 🍓 Enjoy our central, modern offices featuring fresh snacks, coffee (including vegan options!), and ergonomic setups 🎉 Engage in meaningful team events: offsites, happy hours, company parties and celebrations that unite us beyond daily tasks 💻We provide all the necessary equipment for you to work effectively and set up your workspace, wherever you are 🧰 Benefit from additional country-specific advantages based on local contracts and practices   WHO WE ARE 💜  We’re a team of 450 people (and counting!), from 30 different nationalities. We’re on a mission to innovate, and we believe the key to that is seeing the world through a variety of perspectives. That’s why building a more diverse team, as well as bringing in even more talent, is so important for us.   TO FEEL AT HOME 🛋️ IN SHOPFULLY YOU NEED 🎯 Progress Over Perfection : We move forward. Always. In a fast-moving world, speed with purpose beats certainty without action. Momentum matters—not for its own sake, but because it drives results. Clarity Through Transparency : We bring each other along. We work in teams, not silos. Transparency gives context, and context enables action. That means we share decisions early, publish work in progress, and document outcomes so others can learn, move faster, and build better. Learn Loudly : We grow by doing and by daring. Big bets unlock big breakthroughs. But real innovation demands risk, and risk always carries the possibility of failure. That’s not a flaw. It’s the price of ambition. Challenge with Empathy : We speak up, even when it’s hard—because candor shows care, and leads to better outcomes. Listening deeply is how we grow. Disagreeing openly is how we build trust. Always Build Better: We are builders—of products, systems, and ideas. But more than that, we are builders of better. Better has no finish line. It’s a mindset. Join 900+ Docebians around the world and help us reinvent the way people learn, because learning never stops. As a Senior Product Engineer at Docebo, you operate at the intersection of customer needs and product delivery. You'll own the full lifecycle of the features you build — from identifying the problem, through shipping the solution, to measuring what can be optimized. You're not waiting for specs to land on your desk. You're talking to customers, making product decisions, and iterating based on real data. You'll combine strong full-stack engineering skills with genuine product thinking and customer empathy to create simple, elegant, and scalable solutions that delight users. You use AI-assisted development to accelerate implementation, applying your engineering judgment to refine, optimize, and architect solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and production-ready. This role is for people who care as much about what they build as how they build it. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own Products End-to-End: Originate ideas from user conversations, analytics, and company strategy. Build MVPs, ship to production, iterate on feedback, and ensure ongoing success. - Architect and Develop Great Software: Lead the design, development, and scaling of full-stack applications across the company's stack (React or Angular, Go, Node.js, TypeScript, Python), shaping architecture decisions along the way. - Stay Close to Customers: Talk directly to users, participate in support rotations, and use product analytics and observability tools to understand how features are actually being used. - Measure and Iterate: Instrument features, run experiments and A/B tests, define success metrics, and use data to decide what to build, improve, or deprecate. - Build with AI Daily: Use tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other AI-assisted development workflows as a core part of how you work — not as an experiment, but as a multiplier that lets you ship 10x faster. - Drive Engineering Excellence: Champion CI/CD practices, evolve development workflows, and ensure deployment is fast, safe, and reliable. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Design, and Testing to break down complex problems and deliver great outcomes — while driving product decisions independently when appropriate. - Mentor and Grow Others: Coach developers on technical challenges and product thinking, helping them grow into stronger engineers. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 4-6+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with a track record of building and shipping SaaS products end-to-end. - Advanced proficiency across the full stack — Go, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar. - Fluent in AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) and able to use them daily to dramatically accelerate output. - Experience using product analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel) and comfort with experimentation, feature flags, and A/B testing. - Strong CI/CD experience and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Kubernetes), and observability practices. - Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and make sound product and technical decisions with incomplete information. - Experience mentoring developers and collaborating effectively across disciplines. - Strong communication skills — able to talk directly to customers and translate their needs into technical solutions. - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience. OUR HYBRID WORK PHILOSOPHY 🤝 Great work can happen anywhere but coming together helps us go further.
