Based in either Edinburgh or Newcastle, you will have the opportunity to influence the successful delivery of equipment to the end user. We are seeking a Project Engineering Lead (PEL) to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team responsible for maturing cutting-edge PCB/PCA designs in the supply chain supporting the ECRS Mk2 Programme. Reporting directly to the Project Engineering Manager, this role will provide technical and operational leadership across Leonardo and strategic suppliers to improve manufacturing capability, yield, quality, throughput and production readiness. As the PEL for the Supply Chain Improvement Team you will : Lead the ECRS Mk2 Supply Chain Improvement Team, providing direction, prioritisation and governance across supplier improvement, manufacturing maturity and industrialisation activities. Establish and deliver a strategy for improving supplier quality, yield, throughput, lead time and production readiness. Act as the primary engineering interface between Leonardo, strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders advising of improvements to design to aid manufacturing quality, schedule & cost Drive root cause investigations and robust corrective and preventive actions. Drive Design for Manufacture (DfM), Design for Assembly (DfA) and industrialisation best practice. Provide regular updates to the Project Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer, Programme Leadership Team and Head of Programmes. What you’ll bring Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, Physics or equivalent technical discipline. Experience of leading engineering teams or complex manufacturing, industrialization, NPI or supply chain work packages. Experience working with suppliers to improve quality, delivery and manufacturing capability. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Experience leading supplier reviews, audits or performance improvement activities. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to provide structure, focus and momentum within a challenging delivery environment. What we are looking for Practical hands on experience of RF design of circuitry, ideally between DC and 30 GHz, but if you don’t have experience over this whole range then we’d still be interested to hear from you. Experience of working with PCB layout personnel in an advisory capacity. Hands on experience of using RF test and measurement equipment to develop and debug RF circuitry. Ability to use RF and system modelling and simulation tools. Ability to produce concise technical reports detailing design solutions and implementation. Ce poste est ouvert en équipe postée : en week-end de journée (vendredi à dimanche inclus) Contrat : CDI A propos de vos missions Dans le cadre de votre mission au sein de l’atelier dépôts CVD-PVD, vous devrez : * Vous faire former aux outils d’analyse (APC / PCB, Adventa, Klarity defect, space ...), aux processes de dépôts en phase vapeur, aux technologies, aux équipements de process et de métrologie. * Assurer la réalisation d'actions process complexes dans le but de garantir la disponibilité des équipements, la qualité et la continuité des lots de production/engineering dans le périmètre défini. * Contribuer à la réalisation de plans de qualification / manipulations process. * Mettre en sécurité la production, rédiger et communiquer des rapports d’évènements de non qualité. * Remonter les problèmes rencontrés (analyse, description et synthèse) et proposer la mise en œuvre d'améliorations pour augmenter les performances. * Soutenir la ligne de production dans le cadre des activités process. * Former, accompagner et développer les compétences des opérateurs qualifiés sur les tâches process. * Travailler en collaboration avec les opérateurs de production et service Support Process/Maintenance (ingénieurs, techniciens) de l'atelier A propos de vous * De formation Bac 2 / Bac 3 (idéalement en physico-chimie, mesures physiques, chimie ou équivalent), vous disposez de solides compétences physico-chimiques vous permettant de comprendre, suivre et optimiser les procédés de fabrication. * Rigoureux(se) et doté(e) d’un fort esprit qualité, vous appliquez les procédures avec précision et veillez au respect des standards (sécurité, qualité, productivité). Vous possédez un bon sens de la communication et appréciez le travail en équipe, en lien avec la production, la qualité, la maintenance et les équipes R&D / industrialisation. * À l’aise avec les outils bureautiques (tableurs, traitements de texte, présentations) et les outils de contrôle statistique des procédés (SPC, analyse de tendances, suivi d’indicateurs), vous savez exploiter les données pour suivre la performance, détecter les dérives et proposer des actions correctives. * Curieux(se) et doté(e) d’une vraie force de proposition, vous participez activement à l’amélioration continue des procédés : analyse des dysfonctionnements, proposition d’optimisations, contribution à la stabilisation et à la robustesse des process.
