What you'll be doing As our Senior Financial Accountant, you'll be the person who ensures the integrity of our financial records and drives excellence in our accounting operations. Here's what your day-to-day will look like: - General Ledger and Subledger Ownership – Take full responsibility for General Ledger accounting, ensuring accurate and timely postings, robust documentation standards, and full reconciliation of subledgers. Oversee accounts payable and receivable ledgers, ensuring proper clearing of suspense accounts and accurate reconciliation of bank movements. - Balance Sheet Integrity – Prepare and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring traceability and consistency across accounts. - Fixed assets and Capex accounting – Manage capitalization policies, amortization schedules, and related accounting treatments. - Payroll Accounting – Oversee payroll accounting entries in coordination with external providers, ensuring accurate accruals, reconciliations, and consistency with statutory records. - Audit and Compliance Support – Act as key contact for statutory auditors and provide structured, high-quality supporting documentation. - Tax and Regulatory Support – Prepare accounting data required for VAT and other tax filings, ensuring consistency with accounting records. - Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, control, and documentation within the accounting function. Does this sound like you? - Experience – At least 5 years of experience in accounting within fintech, finance or corporate services, with a strong exposure to full closing cycles. - Accounting Knowledge – Solid knowledge of local accounting principles (Italian and/or Luxembourg GAAP). A propos de vos missions Au sein de l’équipe Chip Package Interaction (CPI) et EWS R&D, l’étape d’EWS (Electrical Wafer Sort) est un moment clé du flux de fabrication : elle permet de tester électriquement les puces à l’échelle du wafer via des cartes à pointes (probe cards). Lors de cette étape, le contact mécanique des pointes sur les pads en aluminium génère des scrub marks (traces de frottement), dont les caractéristiques dépendent à la fois : * des technologies de carte à pointe (type de pointes, géométrie, matériau, pitch, etc.) * des technologies front-end (épaisseur d’aluminium, stack métallisation, finition de pad, etc.) * des paramètres de probing (vitesse, température, nombre de pass, overdrive, etc.) La maîtrise de ces scrub marks est un enjeu important pour : * la fiabilité (risque d’endommagement des pads, risque de corrosion, impact sur les étapes backend) * La retestabilité et le rendement (yield) Dans ce contexte, on souhaite mettre en place une méthodologie de caractérisation et d’analyse des scrub marks robuste et reproductible, puis l’utiliser pour étudier de façon systématique l’impact des différents paramètres de l’étape EWS. Les objectifs du projet concernent: * La Méthode : * Challenger/optimiser la méthode de mesure et de traitement d’images permettant de caractériser quantitativement les scrub marks (dimensions, forme, rugosité apparente, endommagement local, etc.) de manière fiable et reproductible. * Définir le format et le contenu des rapports de mesure * La Campagne de mesure / analyse : * Appliquer cette méthodologie à une campagne d’essais en faisant varier les paramètres clefs : * Type de carte à pointe / technologie de probing * Technologie front-end (notamment l’épaisseur d’aluminium dans le pad, les conditions de process de l’aluminium) * Paramètres de probing : vitesse, température, nombre de pass, éventuellement overdrive / force de contact. * La Synthèse : * Définir le cahier des charges d’une base de données qui permet d’établir une corrélation entre les paramètres de probing et les caractéristiques des scrub marks et éventuellement la mettre en œuvre. Les équipes CPI et EWS pourront alors s’appuyer sur cette étude lors du démarrage d’une nouvelle technologie de puces afin de réduire les risques en sélectionnant les conditions les plus adaptées. A propos de vous Vous êtes étudiant en 3ieme année de BUT en Mesure physique ou Instrumentation, éventuellement en mécanique, et en recherche d'une alternance pour 1an, ce projet est fait vous! Vous avez des notions en métrologie et microscopie mais surtout le goût de l'expérimentation et la manipulation sur équipement (microscope, profilometrie, …). Vous êtes méthodique et rigoureux avec un bon esprit de synthèse. Vous êtes autonome, avez une curiosité technique et la capacité de proposer des améliorations. Vous avez un bon relationnel et la capacité à interagir avec plusieurs équipes. Vous êtes à l'aise dans la lecture de documentations en anglais, et pour rédiger des emails ou présentations simples (niveau B1). Your Impact We have an opportunity for a skilled engineering manager to join the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) Multifunction RF System (MRFS) IPT, leading the interdisciplinary team that will deliver one of our key Technology Demonstrator programmes (TDP) into GCAP. This is a key leadership role, working with the Chief Engineer and Head of Engineering to identify, develop and deliver the technical solution. You will work closely with Leonardo’s internal engineering team that is tasked with delivering the main GCAP programme. This is an exciting time within the GCAP programme, this engineering manager will play an important role in bringing together critical technology components into demonstrator hardware that will be tested and incorporated into future GCAP concepts and designs, ultimately contributing to our most advanced RF sensor to date. Your Impact An opportunity has arisen within Leonardo Edinburgh for a Lead Firmware/FPGA Engineer to work on the Global Combat Air System Programme (GCAP). This exciting role will play a significant part in maturing and delivering a mission critical component that will be installed onto the GCAP core platform. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to play a fundamental role in a defence programme of critical national importance, and to shape the future of Combat Air capability in the UK. What you'll bring As a Lead Firmware/FPGA Engineer, you will work with the support of experts in their field, using world-class facilities to deliver Firmware for complex digital systems that meet challenging future customer requirements. Your role may even take you across the UK or abroad for technical reviews. You will use or develop team leading experience to support the delivery of work from several engineers. Your expertise will also be key to enhance processes and ways of working across UK wide FPGA/Firmware delivery teams. Ability to analyse system level requirements and capture/ derive detailed firmware requirements. Ability to prepare documentation for other engineers and design reviews. Experience in firmware design techniques and tools, from VHDL to place-and-route. Experience FPGA architectures such as system-on-chip (e.g. Xilinx Versal). Experience in specifying timing and area constraints for efficient FPGA place and route. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience of working in mixed discipline teams. Degree (BSc, BEng, MEng, MSc, PhD) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or similar engineering/science course. Due to the nature of our work, any candidate must have 5 years UK residency and be capable of achieving full SC security clearance.
