YOUR ROLE Senior PVD Process Engineer responsible for developing, qualifying, optimizing, and sustaining metal deposition processes on Applied Materials (AMAT) Endura platforms. The role supports semiconductor manufacturing by ensuring process stability, film quality, equipment matching, defect control, and production yield improvement. Key responsibilities: * Develop and optimize metal PVD deposition processes on AMAT tools. * Support process qualification, ramp-up, and transfer to high-volume manufacturing. * Monitor and improve key process metrics, including Film thickness, Sheet resistance, Uniformity, Adhesion, Stress, Defectivity, Yield * Perform tool setup, chamber matching, and baseline process tuning. * Troubleshoot process excursions, tool drift, abnormal defects, and yield loss issues. * Analyze metrology, SPC, and inline data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. * Collaborate with equipment, integration, yield, and production teams. * Support preventive maintenance, chamber health checks, and process stability initiatives. * Drive continuous improvement to reduce cost, cycle time, and process variation. * Document process procedures, specifications, and control plans. YOUR ROLE * Support setup of Metrology recipes for new processes, tools, and equipment. * Assist in equipment and measurement qualification. * Monitor equipment performance using SPC and support failure analysis. * Work with maintenance teams to improve uptime and resolve issues. * Support production line troubleshooting and problem solving. * Prepare and maintain clear procedures, specifications, and documentation. * Support training, automation, and continuous improvement activities. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. * Experience in Metrology, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering. * Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, and quality tools is an advantage. * Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. YOUR ROLE * Maintain and support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations through real‑time problem analysis and immediate implementation of effective solutions. * Ensure smooth equipment operation and process flow—delivering high quality, high yield, and low cost—by working closely with Tool Owners, Tool Specialists, and Production Supervisors to achieve overall committed production targets. * Provide real‑time troubleshooting for equipment failures, eSTAR/FDC alarms, and SPC violations. * Manage and monitor equipment performance using Statistical Process Control (SPC). * Work with Engineer to perform analysis and follow-up on all reported fab yields and D0 problems * Follow up on PM/CM qualifications to ensure equipment operates within specifications and can be returned to Manufacturing in the shortest possible time. * Assist in maintaining process quality and supporting process standardization for product and process industrialization. * Work with Engineer to ensure all processes are documented with properly written and clearly defined procedures in the system. * Manage and follow up on Lots on Hold. * Carry out Process Qualifications and Evaluations (trial runs) for SWR or split lots. * Ensure proper passdown with all process/tool details and actions taken, clearly listed inside the passdown report * Engage and participate in continuous improvement projects. * Lead and manage the team by setting clear priorities and achieving results through effective communication YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * Degree in relevant engineering * Minimum 2 year’s relevant experience in semi-conductor process engineering. * Proactive attitude, independent and willing to work under stressful environment. * Good communication and reporting skills * Fast learner of new technical issues * Engineering data analysis skills * Multi-tasking ability ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
