Your Impact Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer that would like to aid in the delivery of high-performance hardware that forms part of our Eurofighter Typhoon Radar? If so, we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will experience the full engineering lifecycle within Leonardo assisting with both product development and production support. What you’ll do as Senior Electronics Engineer: Ensuring that Processor products are delivered on time and to cost by assisting in a range of design, test & manufacturability issues. Provide technical hardware expertise to the development branch of the programme, assisting in Verification & Validation activities. Good domain knowledge of high-speed serial communication links and knowledge of associated protocols and architectures. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a demonstrable tenacity for understanding and implementing robust Root Cause and Corrective Action plans. Working within a multi-disciplined team of engineers to solve real integration problems on complex systems. Fully documenting and recording your work products; keeping them under configuration management and providing plans and progress reports. Good understanding and experience of the design of high-performance products for series production. Hardware schematic generation. Stiamo ricercando n. 1 giovane studente o studentessa da inserire in stage con l’obiettivo di sviluppare la propria tesi di laurea sul tema relativo alla “ Verifica strutturale dei carichi dinamici basata su dati accelerometrici ”, presso lo stabilimento di Venegono Superiore. Scopo di questa tesi è lo sviluppo di una metodologia che permetta la ricostruzione delle sollecitazioni agenti sulla struttura di un velivolo soggetto ad una condizione di carico dinamico (e.g. aerodynamic buffet), basata sulla misura discreta del campo di accelerazione effettuata durante attività di volo dedicata. Il lavoro comprenderà l’analisi dello stato attuale del processo e dei relativi strumenti per contribuire all’implementazione di un tool software dedicato (in ambiente MATLAB) e alla sua validazione. Il lavoro di tesi si concentrerà sullo sviluppo di una metodologia che permetta di sfruttare i dati di tipo accelerometrico collezionati durante attività di volo effettuate con velivoli strumentati con sensori sui principali componenti strutturali (Ala e Piani di Coda), per ricostruire lo stato di sollecitazione agente. Le attività principali riguarderanno: Analisi dati volo (parametri aero-meccanici e accelerometrici); Ricerca bibliografica su metodi e tecniche esistenti; Implementazione di un tool software dedicato (in ambiente MATLAB); Validazione del tool con casi test e/o riferimenti da letteratura; Confronto dei risultai con analisi di risposta strutturale a forzante derivata da simulazioni CFD instazionaria; Trasferimento dei carichi dal modello ridotto usato per i calcoli dinamici al modello a elementi finiti di dettaglio per il calcolo degli sforzi risultanti; Definizione di una procedura per la selezione di condizioni dimensionanti per una specifica componente strutturale (e.g. deriva/timone/equilibratore…). Titolo di studio: Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Aerospaziale o Aeronautica.
