Your Role As an SQE Manager (Supplier Quality Engineering), you will be responsible for ensuring that suppliers consistently deliver materials that meet quality, reliability, and delivery requirements. You will lead supplier quality activities, work closely with internal stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across the supplier base. Key Responsibilities * Manage supplier quality performance and development * Lead supplier qualification and approval processes * Conduct supplier audits, including IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and ISO process audits * Drive supplier SCAR, 8D, and CAPA activities * Manage supplier-related quality issues, including containment actions * Collaborate with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and planning teams * Ensure incoming materials meet required specifications * Lead continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers * Manage supplier change notifications and validation activities * Supervise the QA Engineering team and QC operators Your Skills & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science * Minimum 10 years of experience in supplier quality or related quality functions * Certified VDA 6.3 Lead Auditor and IATF 16949 Lead Auditor * Strong problem-solving skills, including 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP * Strong leadership and communication skills ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
