Il Laboratorio di Innovazione e prototipizzazione ha la missione di coordinare Programmi di ricerca internazionali sui temi Digital e Cyber, che permettano di sviluppare, in contesti collaborativi con altre Aziende Europee leader di settore, Centri Ricerca ed Università e anche in collaborazione con le altre Divisioni e Laboratori di Leonardo, requisiti, architetture, e prototipi orientati alla maturazione di nuovi prodotti e servizi della Divisione Cyber e Security. Il Laboratorio ha ideato, sviluppato e poi condotto a maturità in collaborazione con le Linee di Business ed Ingegneria progetti e servizi di successo sul mercato nazionale ed internazionale.
