All'interno dell'Area Special Projects & Virtual Engineering siamo alla ricerca di un/una Autonomy Expert per il nostro sito di Torino. Attività principali: La risorsa dovrà essere in grado di svolgere le attività di competenza dell’unità Special Projects & Virtual Engineering nell’ambito dell’ufficio Autonomy ed in particolare collaborare nella definizione, implementazione, governance della roadmap di Autonomy nonché nel coordinamento dei progetti speciali associati. Titolo di studio: Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Informatica, Aerospaziale, Elettronica, Automazione o affine. Livello di esperienza richiesto: Senior – esperienza consolidata (> 5 anni) nello sviluppo di sistemi autonomi Competenze tecniche: Conoscenze di mission autonomy, route planning, obstacle avoidance e autonomia cooperative; Intelligenza Artificiale e Machine Learning: conoscenza degli algoritmi per la navigazione autonoma ed il processo decisionale in tempo reale. Conoscenze di image processing e computer vision sono considerate un plus; Solida conoscenza di algoritmi di controllo ed automazione, sensor fusion, navigazione e software real time; Competenza approfondite sulla sensoristica e la loro integrazione a bordo; Comprensione della meccanica del volo; Esperienza pratica in modellazione, simulazione e validazione di sistemi complessi; Nozioni di cybersecurity aeronautica; Conoscenza delle normative nazionali ed internazionali applicabili a UAS/UAV; Conoscenza dell’analisi del rischio in relazione all’aeronavigabilità in modalità di guida autonoma. Competenze comportamentali: Persona proattiva, con spiccata propensione all’innovazione, con buone doti organizzative e capacità di lavorare in autonomia relativamente agli aspetti di competenza, con attitudine al lavoro in team multidisciplinari, anche multi-nazionali, e capacità di interfacciarsi con altre figure aziendali. Role Purpose: To lead and provide expertise in the areas of computer vision and time series analysis, agentic AI and the whole AI spectrum. The role ensures the design and implementation of cutting-edge models that align with company objectives and integrates seamlessly into broader product ecosystems. Key Accountabilities: Model Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and time series analysis models, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Integration & Deployment: Ensure that the developed models are optimized and ready for deployment in various environments, particularly on edge devices. Innovation & Knowledge Upkeep: Stay updated with the latest methodologies in machine learning, AI, and data science to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements. Main Activities: Designing and testing AI models and AI Agents in real world and challenging conditions. Participate on European founded projects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand needs and integrate AI based solutions. Ensuring scalability, robustness, and efficiency of models for deployment. Continual learning and application of the latest in the field to our operational challenges. Requirements Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Physics, Robotics or related fields. Ph.D is a plus. Level of Experience: - Expert-Senior level with [4-10 years] of professional experience in AI. - Proven track record of leading or mentoring junior team members will be a plus. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in computer vision, time series analysis and AI. - Demonstrable expertise in edge devices deployment. - Python Libraries: Pytorch, ONNX, TensorRT. - Experience in C, C++, Rust, Go is a plus. - Experience in LaTeX is a plus. - Experience in MLOps is a plus. - Version control Git (mandatory). - Experience with Docker/Singularity. - Knowledge of the aeronautical world and deployment on aeronautical systems are considered a strong plus. - Experience in Optimization and Operational Research is a plus.
