Role Summary We are looking for a Process Development Engineer to set up, develop, and industrialize PLP LDI and dry film lamination processes. The successful candidate will support new product and technology introduction, contribute to process optimization, and provide technical expertise to ensure quality, yield, and manufacturing readiness. YOUR ROLE * Set up PLP LDI and Dry film lamination processes. * Develop and industrialize PLP LDI and dry film lamination processes, including material introduction, to meet quality, yield, and new application requirements. * Support the assembly of engineering samples for new packages and new technologies. * Characterize PLP LDI and dry film lamination processes and related materials. * Prepare, generate, and update process specifications, SOPs, FMEAs, and process control plans. * Provide technical support for critical quality concerns related to PLP materials and processes. * Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute projects effectively and drive continuous improvement. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * More than 3 years of working experience. * Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Engineering, such as (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology, Material science) or equivalent. * Strong statistical data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret process and quality data effectively. * Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in structured methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, Fish Bond, Is/is not…etc. * Ability to anticipate issues, respond quickly to challenges, and resolve problems effectively. * Good knowledge of production environments and manufacturing operations. * Demonstrated teamwork mindset and commitment to high performance and successful project execution. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Senior Process Engineer leads and manages the successful industrialization of new semiconductor packages in high-volume backend manufacturing (assembly and testing). This role focuses on process development, optimization, qualification and the smooth transition of new products from development to volume production in adherence to business targets. Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Design, develop, qualify, and industrialize new assembly processes for semiconductor packaging across various market segments: Industrial, Automotive, and Space. * Lead the transition of new process designs from the initial project phase (sample prototype | conceptual design) to high-volume production. * Learn and apply advanced engineering process design methodologies (DOE, advanced statistical analysis, AI/ML) to establish robust and scalable processes. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: R&D, Product Quality, Product Engineering, and suppliers (materials and equipment). * Mentor process technicians and junior engineers serve as technical references and guidance for the production team during the ramp-up phase.
