Nell’ambito della unità organizzativa “ Data Analysis Services ” presso il centro spaziale di Matera cerchiamo una risorsa appartenente alle categorie protette Art. 1 legge 68/99 per coprire la posizione di Analista Dati di Geodesia Spaziale. Responsabilità : Le principali attività saranno nell’ambito dell'analisi dei dati GNSS con un coinvolgimento anche sull'analisi dei dati multitecnica. In particolare si richiede: - elaborazione del dato grezzo osservativo GNSS acquisito dai sistemi e relativo controllo di qualità; - applicazione e/o sviluppo di modellistica fisica, algoritmi e metodi statistici per: stima delle coordinate di stazione e analisi delle serie storiche; stima dei parametri atmosferici e loro monitoraggio; stima dei parametri orbitali dei satelliti GNSS e loro monitoraggio; - sviluppo di nuovi prodotti legati al posizionamento di precisione e al monitoraggio atmosferico con i relativi algoritmi e processori operativi. Competenze: - analisi dati di geodesia spaziale in particolare GNSS (preferibile); - analisi temporale delle serie storiche; - sviluppo di pacchetti software scientifici, per esempio in C/C++ e/o in FORTRAN; - conoscenza degli ambienti Unix/Linux e di programmazione in Shell/Perl/Phyton; - conoscenza di MATLAB o ambienti di sviluppo similari; - conoscenza lingua inglese: livello B2 Completano il profilo: - capacità di lavorare in autonomia - teamworking - buone competenze comunicative Titolo di studio Laurea magistrale in Fisica, Matematica o Astronomia. Job Description: We are looking for a Maintenance & Operations Support Engineer with strong systems engineering skills and proven experience in Earth Observation (EO) data processing to support our customer, EUMETSAT. Key Responsibilities Investigate, identify, and fix application software and/or configuration anomalies. Implement new software requirements and actively contribute to ARBs, SRBs, and CRBs. Contribute to software and hardware deployment, verification, and validation (SWETs/HWETs). Build, install, and validate new software releases and patches on development, reference, and operational chains. Contribute to system-level engineering of mission payload data processing systems and support impact analysis for PDP and processor evolutions. Set up and maintain a Test Suite within the Automated Test Environment (ATE). Maintain system models in Enterprise Architect and requirements in DOORS. Contribute to technical baseline documentation (ADD, ICD, STB) and Confluence procedures. Provide cross-training to SGS Data Processing and System Applications Competence Area members. Participate in facility, sub-system, and system-level reviews, milestone meetings, and joint meetings with external partner organizations (ESA, EC, etc.). Provide additional engineering support to other EUMETSAT teams (e.g., SYS/MME) as required. Essential Skills and Qualifications University degree or equivalent in a relevant science or technical discipline. Proven experience in data processing (L0/L1/L2) of Earth Observation (EO) or meteorological satellite products. Experience in integration, verification, and validation (IVV) of data processing systems, including test plans and end-to-end processing chains. Proficiency in scripting languages and databases (Python, Perl, shell, PostgreSQL). Experience in system engineering and system design, alongside hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) with strong communication skills. Ability to produce accurate and consistent technical documentation under configuration control practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a high degree of autonomy and interpersonal awareness. Knowledge of IT, network, and computer security principles. Desirable Skills Knowledge of spacecraft and/or ground segment operations or familiarity with operational procedures and configuration data management. Programming experience in C/C++, Java, or IDL. Experience in quality control, calibration, and validation. Knowledge of ECSS standards. Experience with DOORS requirements management tool.
