    Fintechenglish

About us Traditional banking has never really given you control over your financial life. Satispay exists to change that: to empower people through finance. That means making financial services easy and accessible for over 6.5M users. We started with payments, then benefits, investing, cards... and we’re not done. Not even close. We follow the same logic every time: find a real problem, solve it properly, then look for the next one. The destination? To build the most loved financial platform in the world. Getting there takes leaders who own outcomes across teams, not just tasks, and set the tone for refusing the “someone else will fix this” culture. If that's how you lead, you'll fit right in. What you'll be doing As our Head of Product Marketing - Merchant, you'll own the product marketing strategy for our entire Merchant business and drive merchant acquisition, activation, and loyalty. Here's what that looks like in practice: - Own the Merchant Product Marketing Strategy - Define and drive the go-to-market vision for all Merchant products, ensuring positioning, messaging, and launch plans are tightly aligned with commercial and business goals. - Lead Launches for New Products - Own go-to-market for new merchant offerings as they roll out – from established products like Business Premium to upcoming additions to our merchant toolkit – shaping narrative, positioning, and launch strategy from the ground up, often ahead of public announcement. - Build and Lead a Small, High-Impact Team - Hire, coach, and grow a lean team of product marketing specialists, setting a high bar for craft and ownership. With a small team, you'll be hands-on day to day – shaping briefs, reviewing work closely, and stepping in on execution where needed, not just delegating. - Drive Go-to-Market Excellence - Lead end-to-end launches for new merchant products and features, from positioning and narrative to sales enablement, channel strategy, and post-launch measurement. - Partner Across the Business - Act as the key link between Product, Sales, Business Development, CRM, and Creative teams, ensuring merchant-facing strategies are grounded in real market and merchant needs. - Shape Merchant Segmentation & Value Propositions - Develop differentiated value propositions across merchant segments (micro, SMB, enterprise) to maximize relevance, adoption, and retention. - Own the Merchant Narrative - Define how Satispay talks to merchants – across sales materials, campaigns, product comms, and events – ensuring consistency and clarity at every touchpoint. - Drive Data-Informed Decisions - Set clear KPIs for merchant acquisition and engagement, using data to prioritize investments and continuously refine strategy. - Represent Merchant Marketing at Leadership Level - Bring insights, plans, and results to senior stakeholders, influencing broader company strategy on the merchant side of the business. You will lead and mentor high-performing teams, collaborate closely with peers with structured communication and transparency, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ownership. Who we're looking for You'll take on one of the hardest challenges at our scale: shaping and executing the merchant growth narrative and go-to-market strategy across diverse segments while building a high-impact product marketing engine from the ground up. We're not looking for a caretaker of an existing setup. We're looking for someone who has built or transformed a function, made hard calls under pressure, and can say "here's the decision, here's why, here's what happened." - Senior Leadership Experience, with a Hands-On Mindset - 10+ years of marketing experience, including leading product marketing or B2B marketing teams, while remaining comfortable writing briefs directly. - B2B / Merchant Marketing Background - Hands-on experience marketing to businesses or merchants, ideally in payments, fintech, or another two-sided marketplace. - Comfortable Building, Not Just Managing - Energized by shaping a small team's ways of working from scratch rather than stepping into an established setup. - Excellent Communication Skills - Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compellingly in both written and verbal form to audiences from team members to senior leadership. - Comfortable in a Fast-Paced Environment - Highly driven and goal-oriented, with experience in fast-paced or tech company environments. - Commercial & Data-Driven Mindset - Strong grasp of commercial levers behind merchant acquisition and retention, leveraging data to guide decisions and prioritization. - Strategic Decision-Making - Ability to prioritize and make informed decisions under resource constraints in a dynamic environment while anticipating future needs. - Innovation & Execution - Proven track record of translating strategic insights into actionable plans and tangible business results. - Cross-Functional Influence - Demonstrated ability to build trust and alignment across Sales, Product, and Business Development teams without direct authority. - Languages - Fluent in both Italian and English. We recognise that exceptional leadership comes in many forms. If you believe you have the vision, experience, and drive to help us shape the future of money, we encourage you to apply. We value the unique perspectives and strengths that exceptional leaders bring, even if their experience doesn't align with every listed requirement. Why this is your place This is a unique opportunity to leverage your experience and leadership to make a profound impact on a company poised for significant future growth. We operate on a principle of reciprocity: significant strategic impact are met with meaningful rewards and opportunities. - Own outcomes that reach millions. Lead functions where the results show up directly in the experience of 6.5M+ people and the businesses they pay every day. - Operate in high-growth. You'll make high-stakes calls without waiting for perfect information, in an environment that changes fast as we launch and scale new products. - Significant equity participation. Directly share in Satispay's success through a competitive Stock Option Plan designed to reward leadership and contribution to company growth and raise the bar for collective success. - Lead exceptional teams. Build, mentor, and collaborate with high-performing teams in a culture of ownership, collective success, and continuous improvement fueled by feedback. You will learn from the best and lead alongside founders who are hands-on. CareAbout: how we support your impact We move fast, and evolution never stops. It’s a fun ride, but it can be challenging.
