YOUR ROLE To execute the daily on-site hands-on operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of Gas, SIVL (LN2), Chemical, and supporting Facility Systems (HVAC, Water, FMCS). This role directly assists the Lead Facilities Engineer in ensuring continuous, stable system operation to support production needs and meet the section’s KPIs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Perform day-to-day operations and physical monitoring of Gas, SIVL (LN2), Cylinder management and Chemical distribution systems to maintain stable utility supply to production lines. * Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks, equipment servicing, and workshop activities according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Assist the engineer in executing equipment hookups/un-hookups, physical troubleshooting, and component repairs for chemical, gas, and support systems. * Conduct regular field checks, log system parameters (pressures, flow rates, levels) and flag any deviations in capacity or chemical/gas supply condition. * Follow Out of Control Action Plans (OCAP) and Control Plans to safely contain and mitigate system abnormalities or alarms on the floor, escalating issues to the Lead Engineer when necessary. * Provide on-site technical support during facility expansions, new construction build-ups, and production environmental improvements. * Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and 5S compliance across chemical yards, gas rooms, and plant storage areas. * Report field challenges to the Engineer and suggest practical improvements for SOPs to enhance workplace safety and equipment reliability. * Ensure operational excellence. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * Minimum Diploma or Certificate (SKM/Technical Vocational) in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum 2–3 years of practical, hands-on facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment. * Ability to read basic piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and technical manuals. * Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpointl) for daily log sheets and reporting data. * Good teamwork, communication skills to coordinate with production floor staff, and a strong, proactive attitude towards industrial safety and develop teamwork within Facility and other department. * Willingness to work in cleanroom/plant environments and support shift work or on-call duties if required. * Familiarity with participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or 8D troubleshooting teams is an added advantage ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction. Au sein d'une équipe de 16 techniciens et rattaché/e au manager Exploitation, votre mission principale sera de fournir avec efficience, à nos clients interne, les utilities en continu. A ce titre, vos missions seront les suivantes: EXPLOITATION * Assurer la conduite des installations électriques, HVAC, gaz, produits chimiques, rejets liquides et gazeux. * S’assurer en permanence de l’adéquation entre la capacité des installations et le besoin des clients. * En cas de dérive, réaliser des diagnostics et intervient avec la réactivité adaptée (Majorité de diagnostiques électrotechniques) * Mettre à disposition les installations pour la réalisation de maintenances préventives et correctives. * Configurer les installations afin d’optimiser la consommation énergétique. * Assurer la traçabilité de ses interventions et réaliser le passage de consigne avec les autres équipes, spécialistes et managers. * Etre l’interlocuteur/trice privilégié/e de nos clients MAINTENANCE * Réaliser des maintenances préventives * Réaliser des diagnostics avancés (identification de la cause d’une défaillance) * Réaliser des maintenances correctives QUALITE ET SECURITE * Assurer ses différentes missions en respectant les règles qualité et sécurité requises par les spécifications. Job Title : Facility Engineer (FMCS) Location : STMicroelectronics Sdn. An FMCS Engineer at STMicroelectronics supports the Facility Monitoring and Control Systems that help ensure the reliable, efficient, and safe operation of critical site infrastructure in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Role Purpose The FMCS Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of building and utility control systems that support factory and facility operations. This includes HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, electrical monitoring, water systems, gas systems, alarms, and other critical utilities. Responsibility- What You Will Be Doing * Monitor and control HVAC, CDA, Power, fire alarm interfaces, Water systems, PCW and other building/process utilities through the FMCS platform. * Design and configure control strategies, sequences of operation, graphics, alarms, trends, gap analysis and improvements / catch up with gap, SPC integration and reports. * Perform system troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and field device issues. * Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and facility teams during installation, commissioning, and maintenance. * Maintain system documentation, including control drawings, SPC set point lists, I/O schedules, network diagrams, and as-built records, PLC Backup programs. * Support preventive maintenance and optimize system performance to improve energy efficiency and uptime. * Integrate third-party systems such as 132kV controls, pumps, sensors, and meters into the FMCS. * Commission and validate control systems during new installations and upgrades. * Ensure compliance with POR(Point of Record) and applicable codes, standards, and site procedures. * Train operators and maintenance staff on system use, alarms, and basic troubleshooting. Requirement- What Makes You a Great Fit * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. * Min 5 years of experience in FMCS or facility engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Strong hands-on knowledge of FMCS systems, PLC Siemens S7 and facility operations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting, budgeting, RCA, 8D methodology & problem solving, and project tracking. * Strong English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment. * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions. * Self-driven, adaptable, and ready to take initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
