YOUR ROLE Senior PVD Process Engineer responsible for developing, qualifying, optimizing, and sustaining metal deposition processes on Applied Materials (AMAT) Endura platforms. The role supports semiconductor manufacturing by ensuring process stability, film quality, equipment matching, defect control, and production yield improvement. Key responsibilities: * Develop and optimize metal PVD deposition processes on AMAT tools. * Support process qualification, ramp-up, and transfer to high-volume manufacturing. * Monitor and improve key process metrics, including Film thickness, Sheet resistance, Uniformity, Adhesion, Stress, Defectivity, Yield * Perform tool setup, chamber matching, and baseline process tuning. * Troubleshoot process excursions, tool drift, abnormal defects, and yield loss issues. * Analyze metrology, SPC, and inline data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. * Collaborate with equipment, integration, yield, and production teams. * Support preventive maintenance, chamber health checks, and process stability initiatives. * Drive continuous improvement to reduce cost, cycle time, and process variation. * Document process procedures, specifications, and control plans. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or similar * 5 years of PVD process engineer experiences * Extensive knowledge of Metal deposition processes. YOUR ROLE Senior PVD Process Engineer responsible for developing, qualifying, optimizing, and sustaining tungsten deposition and etch back processes on Applied Materials (AMAT) Centura platforms. The role focuses on ensuring process stability, yield improvement, equipment matching, defect reduction, and robust production support in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and optimize tungsten PVD deposition and etch back processes on AMAT Centura tools. * Perform process setup, characterization, and DOE-driven optimization for film properties, uniformity, and step coverage. * Monitor and improve key metrics such as Film thickness, Within-wafer non-uniformity, Defectivity, Yield, Tool matching and repeatability * Support tool qualification, process qualification, and product transfers. * Troubleshoot process excursions, tool events, particle issues, and compatibility concerns. * Collaborate with equipment, integration, yield, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues quickly. * Analyze metrology and inline data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. * Maintain process documentation, control plans, and standard operating procedures. * Support preventive maintenance, chamber matching, and process stability initiatives. * Drive continuous improvement activities to reduce cycle time, cost, and scrap. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or similar * 5 years of PVD process engineer experiences * Extensive knowledge of Tungsten deposition and etch back processes. * Experiences with primarily AMAT Centura tool type. YOUR ROLE Work with a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers and Assistant Maintenance Engineers to support a Wafer Fab Manufacturing Operation. YOUR ROLE * Understand the performance and characteristics of various Applied Materials Producer/Centura/Endura equipment or / and LAM Research Novellus during PM and CM cycles * Learn and how to analyze the Maestria / Estar system * Learn how to troubleshoot the tool mechanically and basic electronics troubleshooting * Learn how to read electrical and electronics schematic * Study and learn all the toxic gas types used for CVD process ( MSDS) * Involvement in certain key projects / SMED or A3 workshops * Involvement in tool retrofit / improvement projects * Involvement on tool upgrades * Learn to install and reload equipment software * Learn to use analytical tools such as SMED and A3 methodology * To be involve in 5S tool housekeeping * Able to update tool status systematically YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * At least 1 years experience in AMAT Centura CVD/HDP Producer CVD tool or / and Lam Research Tool Novellus. * Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic / Mechanical Engineering or a related field * Able to troubleshoot independently and resolved complex issue. * Experience in doing tool startup and relocation. * Optimise Preventive Maintenance frequency thru hardware/process improvement. * Setup external sensor to improve the tool robustness. * Implement cost saving project thru second source or hardware modification. * Understanding of CVD process, plasma and vacuum system. * General knowledge of Risk Assessment, 8D, Ishikawa, Root Cause tools is an added advantage. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. * Good communication skills, Good analytical skills and teamwork skills * Able to do rotating shift ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
