Contexte Au sein de notre usine 300 mm de microélectronique, le service Process Control est en charge de la surveillance et de l’optimisation des procédés de fabrication. Nous menons un programme majeur de transformation de notre FDC : migration de Maestria vers la plateforme E3, non pas en dupliquant à l’identique les setups existants, mais en renforçant de manière systématique la robustesse des contrôles (meilleure exploitation des traces temporelles, méthodes homogènes d’un atelier à l’autre, etc…). Dans ce contexte, nous renforçons l’équipe FDC refondation avec un poste fortement impliqué dans la migration vers E3 (pour les deux prochaines années) et, à terme, dans le support et l’amélioration continue du system FDC de la fab. Missions principales 1\. Contribution clé à la migration FDC vers E3 * Participer à la préparation et au déploiement de la migration E3 sur différents parcs d’équipements, en appliquant une démarche structurée (analyse des besoins, configuration FDC, tests, mise en production). * Ne pas se limiter à “copier” Maestria, mais contribuer à sécuriser davantage les procédés : couverture de plus de capteurs, meilleure prise en compte des traces temporelles, standardisation des approches entre ateliers. * Travailler en coordination avec l’équipe Process Control, IT, les sous‑traitants et les ateliers pour résoudre les problèmes rencontrés pendant les phases de migration (configurations, données, interfaces). 2\. Support technique et fonctionnel des systèmes FDC (E3 et FDC global) * Assurer la maintenance, le suivi et l’amélioration des setups FDC pour garantir leur disponibilité, leur efficacité et leur cohérence avec les besoins de la fabrication. * Diagnostiquer et traiter les incidents FDC en collaboration avec les équipes engineering, production et IT, avec rigueur et traçabilité. 3\. Structuration et standardisation des méthodes FDC * Appliquer, et contribuer à formaliser, des méthodes FDC structurées et répétables d’un atelier à l’autre, en cohérence avec les lignes de conduite définies par l’équipe Process Control. * Comprendre les problématiques des ateliers et des ingénieurs procédés pour adapter les setups FDC, sans remettre en cause systématiquement les décisions process, mais en garantissant les règles de la qualité et la robustesse de la mise en œuvre FDC. 4\. Gestion des évolutions et déploiements * Participer aux évolutions des setups FDC (nouveaux modèles, nouvelles règles de détection, ajustements WECO…), et à leur déploiement sur les outils et ateliers concernés. * Contribuer à la standardisation des solutions FDC et à l’harmonisation des pratiques entre ateliers. 5\. Formation et support utilisateurs * Participer à la formation des ingénieurs et techniciens à l’utilisation d’E3 FDC et aux bonnes pratiques associées. * Assurer un support de proximité auprès des ateliers (explication des alarmes, du comportement des modèles, de l’impact sur la production). 6\. Suivi des indicateurs de performance FDC * Contribuer à la collecte et à l’analyse de données FDC (WIP coverage, DownRate, qualité des modèles, taux d’alarmes pertinentes…) et proposer des ajustements de setups pour améliorer la détection des dérives et la robustesse des contrôles. 7\. Collaboration transverse * Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes Process Control, production, qualité, IT et, lorsque nécessaire, avec d’autres sites, pour assurer une migration efficace vers E3 et une amélioration continue du système FDC. Profil recherché Compétences techniques * Connaissance des systèmes de Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) et/ou forte motivation à se former à ces systèmes. * Expérience sur Maestria, E3 ou des outils équivalents appréciée. * Bonne compréhension des environnements industriels, idéalement en microélectronique 300 mm. * Compétences en diagnostic, analyse de données et résolution de problèmes techniques. * Maîtrise des outils informatiques (bases de données, SQL, outils de reporting et d’analyse de données). Savoir‑être * Rigueur, sens de l’analyse et respect des méthodes définies par l’équipe. * Bonnes capacités de communication et de travail en équipe (Process Control, IT, ateliers, sous‑traitants). * Proactivité et esprit d’initiative dans la mise en œuvre des solutions, tout en s’inscrivant dans un cadre et des standards existants. * Sens du service et orientation “utilisateur atelier”. Formation et expérience * Diplôme d’ingénieur ou BTS/DUT en électronique, automatisme, informatique industrielle, traitement du signal ou domaine équivalent. * Expérience souhaitée dans un environnement industriel, idéalement en microélectronique ou semi‑conducteurs. * Une première expérience sur des systèmes FDC ou en support technique de systèmes de production est un plus. Position Overview STMicroelectronics is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Member of Technical Staff (MTS) – Implant Equipment to join our advanced manufacturing team in Singapore. This role is responsible for sustaining, improving, and optimizing ion implantation equipment and related processes to ensure stable tool performance, robust process control, high product quality, and manufacturing excellence in a high-volume semiconductor environment. The successful candidate will be a key technical contributor, partnering closely with Process Integration, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, and Technology Development teams to drive tool qualification, process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This position requires deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver practical, sustainable solutions that support fab readiness and operational performance. Key Responsibilities * Own implant equipment performance, process stability, and manufacturability in a high-volume production environment. * Lead technical troubleshooting for process excursions, equipment drift, dose/energy issues, beam instability, contamination, and yield detractors. * Support process tuning, recipe optimization and equipment qualification for ion implantation processes. * Drive root cause analysis and implement robust corrective actions to improve tool availability, process capability, product quality, and yield. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful technology transfer, tool readiness, and process ramp-up. * Monitor and improve key equipment and process metrics using SPC, DOE, FMEA, FDC (Fault Detection Control) and statistical data analysis. * Work with equipment and maintenance teams to strengthen preventive maintenance, calibration, and tool performance standards. * Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, BKMs, qualification reports, and process guidelines. * Mentor junior engineers and technicians and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the organization. * Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in ion implantation and semiconductor equipment. Technical Qualifications * Strong expertise in ion implantation tools and processes for semiconductor manufacturing. * Expert-level experience with Axcelis implant tools, including: * tool setup and operation * process tuning * beam and implant parameter optimization * machine matching & qualification * troubleshooting and process correction * Demonstrated expertise in equipment troubleshooting, process stabilization, and defect reduction. * Solid understanding of process integration, yield improvement, and defect analysis in semiconductor manufacturing. * Familiarity with metrology and analytical tools and methods relevant to implant processes, such as: * sheet resistance measurement * SIMS * four-point probe * ellipsometry or thickness monitoring where applicable * particle monitoring and contamination control * Strong capability in DOE, SPC, FMEA, FDC (Fault Detection Control), data analysis, and root cause investigation. * Experience supporting technology transfer from development to manufacturing. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders. * Familiarity with fab safety, quality systems, documentation standards, and compliance requirements. Preferred Experience * Experience in a semiconductor high-volume manufacturing or technology transfer environment. * Strong background in implant equipment ownership and process support. * Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to cross-functional problem-solving teams. * Proven track record of improving uptime, match, repeatability, contamination control, and process capability. * Experience in driving technical contributions through innovation, patents and impactful fab improvements. * Exposure to ISO systems, operational excellence frameworks, and equipment maintenance practices.
