Your impact Leonardo is seeking a Project Engineering Lead (PEL) within its Customer Support and Service Solutions (CS3) business as part of the Fast Jet Sector–Tornado Nose Radar/Captor Hardware Technical Support team. In this role, you will lead and manage day-to-day engineering delivery for Tornado Nose Radar (TNR) and aspects of Typhoon support, providing technical leadership across design modifications, production, test equipment, and training for Captor-M and Tornado systems. You will oversee technical queries and defect investigations, while contributing to the ongoing development and delivery of in-service support solutions to ensure continued availability for end users. The role will be working onsite four days per week at our Edinburgh site (Monday to Thursday, and work from home of Friday.) Key Responsibilities include; Coordinate and manage technical support work packages, regularly reporting on progress and health. Lead and oversee the TNR support team, ensuring effective delivery of project demands. Drive Leonardo UK–led TNR support activities for Tornado programmes. VOS MISSIONS Concrètement, les missions du stage seront les suivantes : * Comprendre le contexte global de l’activité de documentation technique, y compris une compréhension de haut niveau des outils utilisés par l’équipe : Oxygen, Astoria (CCMS basé sur DITA), FrameMaker, etc. * Participer à la définition des assistant IA (persona / prompts ChatGPT, instructions pour GIT et/ou Microsoft Copilot, etc.), puis contribuer à son développement et à sa mise en œuvre au sein de l’ensemble de l’équipe (environ 30 personnes réparties sur 6 sites); ansi que à la définition et implementation de agentic AI dasn l'equipe et avec d'autres équipes dans MDRF. * Être un membre actif de la task force IA au sein de l’équipe, avec pour mission d’identifier les assistants et agents IA qui peuvent être intégrés dans l’activité de documentation technique pour améliorer l’efficacité et la qualité, en interaction avec l’équipe tech doc et les principaux interlocuteurs côté division. * Assurer le reporting des avancées : mises à jour régulières, problèmes rencontrés, solutions mises en place et progression globale de la mission, afin d’en garantir le succès d’ici la fin du stage. * Coordonner la phase de bêta‑test des developements avec les membres clés de l’équipe, affiner l'outil ou le script au fil des itérations, puis finaliser un assistant IA prêt pour une utilisation en production. * Renforcer le niveau de culture IA de l’équipe en proposant des formations et/ou des sessions de partage de connaissances concrètes, et en formant les utilisateurs à la bonne utilisation de l’assistant IA développé. * Participer à la définition et à la mise en place d’outils d’automatisation (scripts, frameworks) pour soutenir les activités de documentation technique des rédacteurs techniques et des ingénieurs de la division. VOTRE PROFIL Formation * Étudiant(e) en Bac+4 / Bac+5 (école d’ingénieurs, université, école spécialisée) avec une spécialisation en informatique, data, intelligence artificielle, systèmes d’information ou équivalent. * Un intérêt pour la documentation technique, l’ingénierie ou les produits électroniques / semi‑conducteurs est un plus. Compétences techniques * Bonne compréhension des concepts d’IA générative (modèles de langage, principes de prompting, limites, bonnes pratiques). * Aisance avec les outils numériques collaboratifs (suite Microsoft 365, outils de versioning type GIT, outils type Copilot, plateformes de chatbots, etc.). * Notions de développement / scripting (par exemple Python, scripts shell ou autre langage permettant d’automatiser des tâches). * Capacité à appréhender rapidement des workflows outils (Oxygen, Astoria – CCMS DITA, FrameMaker), même sans expérience préalable. * Anglais : anglais écrit impératif et niveau conversationnel à l’oral nécessaire. Bon niveau de rédaction et de synthèse en anglais, le travail se faisant dans un environnement international, avec une documentation principalement en anglais. Soft skills * Curiosité et intérêt marqué pour l’IA, les outils digitaux et la transformation des modes de travail. * Esprit analytique et capacité à résoudre des problèmes : savoir tester, comparer plusieurs approches et proposer des solutions pragmatiques. * Autonomie et sens de l’initiative, tout en sachant travailler en coordination avec une équipe multisites. * Rigueur et sens du détail, notamment dans la validation des outils développés et la cohérence des usages proposés. * Capacité à travailler en équipe dans un environnement multiculturel et réparti sur plusieurs sites. * Qualités de communication (orale et écrite) pour échanger avec des profils variés (rédacteurs techniques, ingénieurs, marketing, IT) et animer des sessions de formation ou de partage. * Adaptabilité et ouverture au changement dans un contexte technologique en évolution rapide.
