Inside the Ground & Mission Operation Team, we are looking for a Ground Segment Operations Engineer to manage following tasks/activities : • Monitoring of the functional status of the subsystems of the "Ground" component of the MPS • First and Second level SW preventive and corrective maintenance • First and Second level HW preventive and corrective maintenance • Support to the Development and Engineer Team for the anomaly analysis • SW deployment in case of Microservice architecture • SW patch update in case of Virtual Machine • Operative system update • Development, validation and maintenance of specific operational script eventually identified from operational and maintenance needs • Generation of operational reports, as applicable for the various Missions • Support to the preparation and execution of the Non-Regression / System Validation test campaigns • System and Operational Requirements analysis • SW configuration control • Contributing to project documentation (manuals, architectural drawing, user stories and test documents). Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Skills & Experience At least 1-2 years of professional experience in structured and complex industry environment. Strong knowledge of: Unix and Linux SW Operating Systems; Shell scripting (bash, tcsh) Relational (SQL, NoSQL, ...) and Non Relational DBs; Cloud Computing Architecture & Virtual Environments; Microservices Architectures.
