YOUR ROLE In the context of an Apprenticeship Program, we are looking for a first-year Electronic Engineering student. You will join a dynamic, multicultural, multi-site team of around 80 people, covering the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region within the Sales & Marketing organization. You will be at the heart of the connected objects revolution and will actively contribute to the deployment of new technologies for our customers. Within this team: * You will deepen your expertise in STM32 microcontroller products. * Your mission will be to support our customers in their future projects based on STM32 microcontrollers. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES The profile we are looking for is a student in their first year of engineering school studies who has: * Good knowledge of embedded electronics, SW and HW * An academic knowledge in software development, or in software integration on embedded microcontroller * Good programming skills with C language in embedded context * Strong ability to work independently * The ability to work in an international environment, with remote teams * Good mastery of French and English in a technical context.     Job Description: Job Title CM CORE - PLM Technical Leader This key role reports to the Configuration and Data Management Capability Manager (CDMCM) for the UK Wide core CDM tooling. The successful candidate will lead a team that will coordinate the integration of the operational requirements from across the Leonardo electronics engineering functions into the company PLM tool. The role holder will operate as technical leader for Engineering operations activities and have responsibility for assuring the capability delivery against the stakeholder requirements. Leonardo UK is pushing the technical boundaries associated with advanced tactical sensing, data fusion, communications, machine learning and defensive aids systems and this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to play a fundamental role in our Business Transformation to enable the Digital Engineering Landscape as the CM CORE - PLM Technical Leader Within this role, you shall give clear direction into the project on the C&DM process and tools requirements that support System level Requirements to integrate Software, modelling and hardware within the PDM system. In doing so, you must be prepared to ‘challenge the norm’ and support the organisation in identifying the required tailoring to fit the lifecycle phase and/or context of a Programme and Business As Usual (BAU) while respecting the company Business Management System. As the CM CORE - PLM Technical Leader, you are expected to: Drive a pro-active holistic approach to C&DM into the Leonardo UK (LEUK) business Support Leonardo UK (LEUK) in encouraging new ideas and innovative solutions into the Integrate Project Team (IPT) and the Line of Business. (LoB) As an individual, you are expected: Strategic: Cultivate and manage working relationships as the technical point of contact across multiple vendors/partners - e.g Siemens ( Teamcenter), SAP etc. Define and Develop a comprehensive technical roadmap for CM/DM Tooling aligned with the Digital Engineering Strategy and LoB/IPT Requirements working closely with the CDMCM Deputise, when required for the CDMCM Ensure capability alignment across wider ongoing related initiatives across IT and Engineering Technical Leadership: Accountable for the business acceptance of technical capability delivered against defined acceptance criteria. (Incorporating customer, business, legislative and contractual requirements) Provide technical leadership in order to resolve technical, project and programme conflicts. Collaborate with CDMCM to develop a plan for Core PLM workload and capability delivery. Coordinate technical activities across all project work streams providing technical guidance to ensure cohesion across planned design, capability and enhancement work streams to meet business requirements Act as accomplished technical specialist enabling PLM continuous improvement through collaboration, guidance and promotion. Liaise with the CM community to ensure development and deployment of CM best practice within LEUK. Stakeholder Management Engage and influence business stakeholders to ensure that specific business requirements are correctly captured and agree acceptance criteria for developed solutions. Engage and influence stakeholders across the wider business outside the focus of CDM to ensure that business requirements are satisfied for the entire LEUK lifecycle. Key Performance Indicators: Assist in the establishment and development of the core PLM technical capability and capacity required to run an enterprise-wide service Establish ELA, OLA and SLA for the LEUK wide enterprise production platform. Demonstrate appropriate decision making within the scope of project – time, cost and requirement acceptance. Efficient and Accurate delivery of capability within a defined technical roadmap. Form and expand a network of key stakeholders keeping the network fully engaged across LEUK Collaborate across project streams working with the wider organisation towards a consistent standardised approach across LEUK Gain recognition within LEUK as the technical focal point for PLM and CM. Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required Desirable Experience: A good understanding of Configuration Management in accordance with DEF STAN 05-57. Strong Administration Skills with an attention to detail - you are required to have a logical mind-set Required Demonstrable Experience Technical Team Management – ITSM operations experience would be valuable. Full understanding of the PLM lifecycle and Tool definition to meet specific requirements Understand and capture end to end business requirements across multiple PLM domains Ability to translate business requirements into context driven functional use cases. Definition and agree acceptance criterion for requirements with IT and Business organisations. Proven ability to liaise and manage 3rd party vendors to ensure product functionality is delivered to meet defined acceptance criterion. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in order to meet project deadlines and constraints – time, cost, evolving requirements and acceptance criterion Due to the nature of our products you must be able to achieve UK Security Clearance (SC) and be authorised to access UK-Eyes-Only and ITAR material.
