    Job Description: We are looking for an organised, proactive and analytical Project Controller to support the planning, monitoring and control of the Combat Air Production IPT portfolio. We do offer a hybrid working site, with a minimum of 3 days onsite from our Luton office. Typically focused on the Project Management, Engineering and Operations Support elements of the forecast, you will be the central focus for the administration and coordination of Project Controls data covering labour, cost and milestone forecasting and cost reconciliation, with responsibility for variance reporting and collation of monthly portfolio reporting. Project Controls experience would be extremely useful, but we would be keen to speak to anyone with an administrative background who has a keen eye for data, strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly pick up and learn new processes and software (Primavera P6 and SAP). Typical Accountabilities Delivers Project Controls on Projects through the application of consistent processes, methods, governance and provision of guidance to the wider IPT in line with Leonardo processes Ownership of the Project Schedules for Management, Engineering and Operations support to Production - drive and promote optimal schedule quality and best practice management techniques including application of schedule risk analysis at all stages of the project lifecycle Apply resource scheduling techniques to optimise schedules, identify and resolve conflicts Provide Project Controls support to the establishment and management of activities in the bid phase to ensure best practice is followed, risks managed and schedules can transition to execution with minimal impact Conduct what if analysis to drive decision making and risk mitigation Apply Project Controls metrics, measures and reports to IPT / PCM relating to cost and schedule variance, alongside recommendations to address issues Actively contribute to IPT and Business area Project reviews (PPRP, Schedule Reviews etc) through delivering the Project Controls inputs Build and maintain good working relationships with all functions across applicable Projects in order to influence project activities Key Performance Indicators Delivery against personal and team objectives Delivery of KPI targets e.g. Cost Variance, demand accuracy, forecast accuracy Compliance with business process and tools Compliance to business processes and systems Accuracy of data entry and reports/analysis and quality of information communicated Recognised as point of contact on projects within their scope Positive personal behaviours Internal Customer feedback (PM, IPT etc) Commitment to professional and personal development Attainment and consistent delivery of the levels identified in the Project Controls Capability Matrix Knowledge, Skills & Experience Practical and demonstrable experience of Project Planning and Control principles Experience using techniques and procedures e.g. Work Breakdown Structure, Network Planning, Resource Planning, Cost Control and Analysis, Variance Reporting Proficient on SAP/Primavera Tool for planning and project management elements or similar planning tool.
