In qualità di IPT Leader della commessa di assistenza e manutenzione, il Service Manager è coinvolto nell’iniziativa commerciale, contribuendo ad analizzare la sostenibilità degli impegni ed a valutare il livello di rischio della commessa di service già in fase di proposal, si interfaccia con il cliente finale per la gestione degli impegni contrattuali di garanzia e post-garanzia, in stretto coordinamento con le altre funzioni aziendali coinvolte (proposal & sales, project manager di fornitura, assistenza post-vendita), definisce e mantiene aggiornato il programma dell’iniziativa di progetto/servizio a lui assegnata, prende in carico ed amministra il budget dell’iniziativa lungo tutto il ciclo di vita della commessa, negozia gli impegni e pianifica le risorse insieme ai referenti delle funzioni tecniche coinvolte, monitora l’avanzamento e misura la qualità dei risultati dei singoli work package assegnati, in stretto coordinamento con i referenti tecnici, anche attivando subforniture di prodotti/servizi esternalizzati ove necessario per il completamento dell’iniziativa, riporta periodicamente alla funzione di pianificazione operativa i principali dati di avanzamento della commessa, aggiornando la previsione a finire ed evidenziando possibili criticità emergenti, si interfaccia con la contabilità, fornendo puntuale evidenza dei dati necessari per l’emissione e per l’avanzamento delle fatture in base a quanto aziendalmente e contrattualmente previsto.
