Within the Operations area, we are seeking a Should Cost Engineer for our office in Cascina Costa (VA). Job description The main responsibilities and activities associated with the role are listed below: identify and analyze the technical, functional and performance characteristics of mechanical systems (components, mechanical transmissions, kinematic mechanisms) and hydraulic systems (servo controls and hydraulic circuits) identify and define the cost drivers of mechanical and hydraulic components/equipment estimate the cost of mechanical and hydraulic products by applying the most appropriate industrial cost estimation methods (parametric / analogy / bottom-up). Perform VA/VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) analyses on mechanical and hydraulic products Requirements Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering (specialization in mechanical and hydraulic systems) knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems (rotary-wing and/or fixed-wing aircraft) mechanical technologies, development and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems Problem Solving Initiative and motivation VA/VE English, advanced/intermediate level (spoken and written B2/C1 Level) level of experience: 4/5 years in a similar role Seniority Junior: 3–5 years of experience WHAT WE OFFER Engagement, recognition of skills, and a strong focus on people's well-being and safety are the cornerstones of our corporate culture. YOUR ROLE the Fire System Maintenance Engineer is responsible to design review, daily operation, reliability, safety, compliance, preventive maintenance, and documentation of fire pump systems. * Ensure the continuous readiness and reliability of fire pump systems, 24/7. * Perform planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, controllers, and related equipment. * Carry out routine testing, performance checks, and compliance inspections to meet fire protection requirements. * Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and system improvements to enhance reliability and safety. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and logs. * Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and corrective actions.
