YOUR ROLE Responsible for executing daily preventive maintenance, inspections and basic troubleshooting of the Muratec AMHS system components to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation within a 24/7 cleanroom manufacturing environment. * Conduct daily preventive maintenance and inspections on OHT track, OHT vehicles, OHBs, OLUSs, Lifters and AMRs. * Perform battery changes on AMRs twice per shift. * Respond promptly to alarms and faults, perform basic troubleshooting and repairs. * Maintain cleanroom standards during all maintenance activities. * Accurately document maintenance activities, faults and repairs. * Support the team in emergency breakdowns and assist with equipment troubleshooting. * Adhere to safety and cleanroom protocols. Les attaques par canaux auxiliaires (Side-Channel Attacks, SCA) et les attaques par fautes sont des techniques puissantes qui exploitent des fuites physiques ou des erreurs induites afin d’extraire des informations secrètes des implémentations cryptographiques. Traditionnellement, ces attaques ciblent des valeurs intermédiaires de taille limitée, telles que des octets ou des mots, en raison de la complexité computationnelle liée à l’analyse de jeux de données plus volumineux sur des ordinateurs classiques. Avec l’avènement de l’informatique quantique, les adversaires pourraient bénéficier de ressources de calcul considérablement accrues, ouvrant potentiellement la voie à de nouvelles stratégies d’attaque. Objectifs de la recherche Les objectifs principaux de cette recherche sont : * Étudier comment les capacités de l’informatique quantique peuvent être exploitées pour réaliser des attaques par canaux auxiliaires et par fautes sur des algorithmes cryptographiques. * Explorer la faisabilité et l’impact d’attaquer des valeurs intermédiaires plus larges, au-delà des tailles traditionnelles d’octets ou de mots, grâce à des adversaires quantiques. * Développer des modèles et des cadres expérimentaux simulant des attaquants quantiques dans des scénarios d’attaques par canaux auxiliaires et par fautes. * Évaluer les implications des attaques assistées par ordinateur quantique sur la sécurité des implémentations cryptographiques actuelles. Revue de la littérature Une revue approfondie de la littérature existante sera menée, en se concentrant sur : * Les méthodologies classiques d’attaques par canaux auxiliaires et par fautes ainsi que leurs limites computationnelles. * Les fondamentaux de l’informatique quantique et les algorithmes quantiques pertinents pour la cryptanalyse. * Les recherches antérieures sur la cryptanalyse assistée par quantique et les attaques par canaux auxiliaires quantiques. * Les modèles d’adversaires dotés de capacités quantiques et leur impact sur la sécurité cryptographique. Méthodologie La recherche sera structurée en plusieurs phases : * Phase 1 : Modélisation théorique Élaboration de modèles formels d’attaques par canaux auxiliaires et par fautes intégrant les ressources computationnelles quantiques. * Phase 2 : Développement d’algorithmes Conception et implémentation d’algorithmes quantiques ou hybrides quantique-classique pour traiter des valeurs intermédiaires plus larges dans des scénarios d’attaque, ainsi que proposition de nouveaux scénarios. * Phase 3 : Simulation et expérimentation Utilisation de simulateurs quantiques ou de matériel quantique disponible pour valider les modèles d’attaque et les algorithmes proposés. * Phase 4 : Analyse de sécurité Évaluation de l’efficacité et de la faisabilité des attaques quantiques améliorées, ainsi que de leur impact sur la sécurité cryptographique. Proposition de contre-mesures innovantes face à ces nouvelles menaces. Contributions attendues Cette recherche vise à apporter une contribution significative dans les domaines de la cryptographie et de l’informatique quantique en : * Fournissant de nouvelles perspectives sur les capacités des adversaires quantiques dans le contexte des attaques par canaux auxiliaires et par fautes. * Élargissant le champ des modèles d’attaque pour prendre en compte des valeurs intermédiaires plus larges rendues possibles par le calcul quantique et en proposant de nouvelles menaces. * Proposant des lignes directrices pour la conception d’implémentations cryptographiques résilientes face aux attaques physiques assistées par quantique. Position Overview STMicroelectronics is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Member of Technical Staff (MTS) – NiPd APS Electroplating Process to join our advanced manufacturing team in Singapore. This role is responsible for sustaining, improving, and optimizing the NiPd plating process on APS electroplating tools supplied by a German equipment vendor. The position plays a key role in ensuring stable process performance, robust bath control, high product quality, and manufacturing excellence in a high-volume semiconductor environment. The successful candidate will serve as a key technical contributor, working closely with Process Integration, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, and Technology Development teams to drive process optimization, troubleshooting, bath management, tool qualification, and continuous improvement. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and proven capability in electroplating process development and manufacturing support. Key Responsibilities * Own and support NiPd electroplating process performance, bath stability, and manufacturability in a high-volume production environment. * Lead technical troubleshooting for process excursions, bath instability, plating non-uniformity, tool drift, contamination, and yield detractors. * Support process tuning, recipe optimization, equipment qualification, and chamber/tool matching for APS plating tools. * Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions to improve tool availability, process capability, product quality, and yield. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful technology transfer, tool readiness, and process ramp-up. * Monitor and manage bath health using bath analysis data and support process control through Nova Ankolyzer results. * Work with equipment and maintenance teams to strengthen preventive maintenance, calibration, and tool performance standards. * Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, BKMs, qualification reports, bath control guidelines, and process specifications. * Mentor junior engineers and technicians, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization. * Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in electroplating, bath management, and semiconductor wet process equipment. Technical Qualifications * Strong expertise in NiPd plating processes for semiconductor manufacturing. * More than 10 years of experience in NiPd plating process development, troubleshooting, and manufacturing support. * Deep knowledge of APS electroplating tools from the German supplier, including: * tool setup and operation * process tuning * recipe optimization * tool qualification * troubleshooting and process correction * Strong understanding of electroplating bath chemistry, bath health monitoring, and plating process control. * Experience with bath analysis and strong working knowledge of Nova Ankolyzer for bath monitoring and process support. * Practical experience in equipment troubleshooting, process stabilization, and defect reduction. * Solid understanding of process integration, yield improvement, and defect analysis in semiconductor manufacturing. * Familiarity with relevant metrology and analytical methods for plating processes, such as: * thickness measurement * surface inspection * composition verification * uniformity analysis * contamination monitoring * Strong capability in DOE, SPC, data analysis, and root cause investigation. * Experience supporting technology transfer from development to manufacturing. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders. * Familiarity with fab safety, quality systems, documentation standards, and compliance requirements.
