That means shaping the local culture, setting team rituals, and creating the day-to-day operating environment that turns a headcount plan into a real, high-performing team. - Recruit, onboard, and ramp Italian-speaking AEs: own the full hiring cycle in Barcelona, source Italian-speaking talent from the local pool, design a structured ramp plan with clear milestones, and get new hires to full productivity fast. - Own SMB outbound revenue end-to-end: ARR targets, pipeline coverage, win rate, sales cycle length, ACV, discounting discipline, and forecast accuracy. You are the single point of accountability for the Barcelona SMB numbers. - Lead and coach full-cycle AEs from cold outreach to close with weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, live call coaching, deal strategy sessions, and structured improvement plans. Your AEs run the entire cycle (cold calls, multi-channel sequences, demos, and closing with individual lawyers and small firms, average deal size €1.5k–€5k). - Execute and refine the SMB outbound operating system, adapting proven playbooks from the Milan office to the Barcelona team: ICP segmentation, territory design, account/lead sourcing, phone-email-LinkedIn cadences, and activity-to-outcome accountability. - Cross-functional coordination working closely with Marketing (campaigns, content, events), Partnerships (local channels, KOLs), and Product (field feedback loops) to maximise pipeline generation and conversion.   WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Founding-manager mindset : you are energised by starting from zero. You have experience in building teams, routines, or offices and you know how to create structure and momentum where none exists. You see yourself as a builder! - Proven SMB outbound sales leadership in B2B SaaS: you have managed full-cycle AE teams with consistent quota attainment, in a high-velocity, transactional sales environment with deal sizes in the €1k–€10k range. - Hands-on outbound expertise: you can personally build sequences, pick up the phone, and run a cold call block. You teach prospecting by doing it, not just reviewing dashboards. - Fluent in Italian and English: the team sells to Italian clients; Italian is essential for coaching, call reviews, and deal strategy. English is the working language with HQ and cross-functional teams. - Willing to relocate to or already based in Barcelona: his is an on-site leadership role.
