Within the Industrial Operations area, we are seeking a HSE Specialist for our office in Cascina Costa (VA). The duties of the HSE Specialist, in its whole, consist in: - Help ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations; - Manage the main processes related with HSE management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001); - Prepare and verify of technical procedures and operating instructions relating to HSE system; - Verification of compliance with standards of health and safety at work - drafting and updating HS documents (DVR); - Manage accident and near misses analysis; - Carry out all work in accordance with the Regulatory, Legislative and Contractual requirements; - Manage accident and near misses analysis; - Carry out activities concerning the Chemical Management (i.e. MSDS evaluation; Chemical Risk assessment) and REACH impact on HSE activities; - Ensure Corporate Reporting related to HSE - Arrange for Induction & periodic HSE training of employees and workmen; - Interface with External Bodies (ASL, ARPA, Provincia etc.) during surveillance audits. - Ensure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to air, solid waste, chemical, water, health and safety Requirements: - Qualification: University degree (Security, Chemical, Environment) - Seniority: Junior: 1–3 years of experience Hard Skills: Knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations (mandatory) Knowledge ok main processes related with HSE management systems (mandatory) Ability to Manage accident and near misses analysis (nice to have) Soft Skill: Ability to work in team Problem solving oriented Initiative and motivation Ability to work independently Ability to assign and manage priorities Excellent communications, listening and interpersonal skills Languages: Good English level (write and oral B1/B2); IT Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Knowledge of main SAP processes (nice to have) Other: available to national business trip, flexible WHAT WE OFFER Engagement, recognition of skills, and a strong focus on people's well-being and safety are the cornerstones of our corporate culture. Focus chemical management, hazardous chemicals & waste management, resource efficiency (energy, water, gases), and climate/ESG reporting. * Maintain and improve the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System for the site; support internal and external audits. * Prepare and submit environmental reports to authorities (e.g., emissions inventory, hazardous waste manifests, GHG reporting, water discharge reports) in line with semiconductor‑specific regulations and permits. * Track changes in environmental regulations relevant to semiconductor industry (e.g., restrictions on PFAS, PFCs, VOCs) and drive required updates. * Support corporate ESG / sustainability reporting: * Scope 1 and 2 GHG, and where relevant scope 3 (e.g., PFCs, process gases). * Water stress, effluent quality, waste recycling rates. * Support customer audits and questionnaires focused on environmental and sustainability performance. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline (e.g., Civil/Mechanical with strong environmental component). * At least 5 years in semiconductor, microelectronics, or similar manufacturing (pharma, display, solar, or chemical industries can be considered). * Experience with environmental aspects (wastewater, emissions, chemicals, utilities). * Solid understanding of environmental regulations applicable to industrial/semiconductor facilities (air, water, waste, chemical management, GHG). * Hazardous waste classification, storage, transport, and contractor management. * Environmental monitoring, data analysis, and root cause investigation. * Experience with environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and audits is a plus. * Proficiency in standard office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); any of the following is a plus: * Data analysis/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). * Canva or photoshop ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
