Who we are The RFOC Software R&D organization designs, develops and delivers the software required to support the product roadmaps of the RFOC Sub‑Group divisions. Within this organization, we are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Specialist (Quality Champion) who will work transversally with different product teams to support and strengthen our software quality culture and practices. What you will do As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist / Quality Champion, you will: * Act as the quality reference for one or more software product teams * Support teams in tailoring and applying the RFOC software development and quality processes * Help define and track quality milestones (reviews, test readiness, release readiness, KPIs, etc.) * Contribute to process compliance with internal procedures and applicable safety/security requirements * Coordinate and support internal and external audits (preparation of evidence, follow‑up of actions) * Review key work products (requirements, design, tests, reports) from a quality perspective * Promote best practices (reviews, test strategy, traceability, configuration management, CI/CD, automation) * Collaborate closely with developers, project leaders and other stakeholders to balance effort and quality goals * Contribute to continuous improvement of our processes, methods and tools, based on feedback and lessons learned Who you are * You have a background in software (e.g. Software Engineer, Embedded Developer, Tester, System Engineer) and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle. * Experience in software quality assurance, process, audits or safety/security is a plus; otherwise you show strong motivation to learn and grow quickly in this direction. * You are comfortable discussing technical topics (e.g. requirements, design, tests, code) with development teams. * You have a structured and analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and robustness. * You demonstrate strong communication and relational skills and you enjoy working transversally with multiple teams. * You are able to negotiate and influence to find realistic compromises between quality, effort and planning. * You are curious, open to feedback and willing to continuously improve both your skills and the way we work. * Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; French or other languages are a plus depending on your location. Agentic AI Expert for Physical Design Automation Business context / organization The resource will be included in the “Methodology and Design Flow - MDF” which is part of the “Central R&D” team in the context of the MDRF group. The mission of MDF is to increase the productivity of the MDRF design activities by leading the evolution of design methods and tools thru the definition, development, deployment and support of unified design methodologies for the entire MDRF group, covering all design phases. Activity description Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI, ML, agentic/orchestrator, Skill development) are finding increasing application also in the field of digital design, allowing to optimize the use of EDA tools and technology, with the aim of improving PPA and productivity. The candidate will operate in close collaboration with EDA tool developers and design teams, to integrate AI models into existing design automation flows, working actively in large scale data set collection to drive model learning and prototype Gen-AI techniques tailored to design automation. The resulting system needs to be benchmarked against traditional methods to demonstrate improvement in quality of results and productivity while enabling scalability. Maintenance, improvement, and generalization across different technology nodes and design styles are part of the activities, complemented by training generation and deployment across MDRF community Required skills The ideal candidate should possess a strong theoretical knowledge and in-field application of AI and ML techniques, along with solid mastery of programming languages used in this area, such as Python.
