We are looking for a resource to join the team to support the development of new features of an internal tool able to perform very fast thermal simulations of IC packages. The scope is to faster assess the thermal impact of board details. Main activities: * Introduction of detailed board model in TRAC (ST internal tool) * Validation of the models vs Flotherm, through comparison of thermal simulations results, analysis of deviations, and model optimization. * Creation of a simulation results database for different package families, in order to evaluate the impact of the board on the ThetaJA thermal metric. * Development of a regression model, possibly with machine learning techniques, to accelerate the estimation of the board's thermal impact without having to run full simulations each time.
