Internship objective This thesis is positioned within the field of software engineering applied to automotive systems: the goal is to explore the opportunities offered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic approaches to support software development process activities. Main activities(6-9 monts) The candidate will work on a prototype applied to the software development process on real components. In particular, they may contribute to: Analyzing the stages of the development process where agentic AI can provide the highest value, by evaluating: * benefits * limitations * risks of the proposed approach * understanding constraints and needs related to ASPICE and ISO 26262 * designing and developing scripts, tools, and AI agents to automate and support parts of the process in terms of quality, reliability, and adoption in an industrial context Candidate profile We are looking for a student close to completing a Master’s degree (with a maximum of two exams remaining at the start of the activity) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. The PSL is the ‘de facto’ Head of Security for the LUK’s Future Combat Air ambitions – both within GCAP and related national FCAS programmes. Experience as a key point of contact with senior stakeholders (up to and including C-suite and 1*/2* level) with the ability to use these relationships to assist in business winning activities. Significant experience managing the pastoral and administrative components of security stakeholders and other People Leaders day to day. Ability to proactively contribute to Practice Management activities related to the PSO function. Experience working on detachment with allies – ideally Japan and/or Italy.
